Mission Trip to Moldova in 2015

In 2015, Dr. Anthony Nguyen lead a seven person medical team on a mission trip sponsored by the New Life Church of Atlanta to Moldova. Located between Romania and Ukraine, Moldova is the poorest country in Europe. Dr. Anthony Nguyen and his team operated in the church of a small town, which was the most well-maintained building in the area. Over the seven-day mission, Dr. Anthony Nguyen faced challenges such as a limited water system and stifling heat as he performed surgical extractions for the people of the area. Many of the residents lack the money to pay for dental extractions; moreover, the local clinic does not have the instruments and medicine for such treatments. Some of his patients were actually turned away by the local clinic from the severity of their conditions. The New Life Dental Clinic, with Dr. Anthony Nguyen at its head, will return to Moldova in 2016 and continue its efforts to aid the people of Moldova.
